Pandemic Portraits

In 2020 I interviewed people about their emotional experiences with the global, Covid 19 pandemic. The project began with friends but it expanded to include strangers from around the world who volunteered to participate. The series explores how we suffer. Where emotional pain often feels deeply specific or individual, this series hopes to illustrate the places where human suffering overlaps and looks the same across geographic borders.
